Due to increased documentation obligations, German tax authorities now require the following documents and information in connection with exports to EU member states:

1. Complete and exact company address, phone number, fax number, email address, specify the / r branch of industry / sector and, if available Internet address, business card, etc.
2. European VAT identification number
3. Entry in Commercial Register, trade license, or proof of company status (e.g., Chamber of Commerce) as copies
4. Passport copy of owner / shareholders / managing directors, and
5. A power of attorney with rights of collection in the original version signed by him, preferably with a stamp, for the driver sent to collect the object(s)
